Most senior staff are now in place and they are proceeding with the restructuring of their departments and the integration and improvement of services across County Durham.

I meet many local groups and organisations to find out how we can work together and I also represent the Council on county, regional and national organisations to encourage partnership working, promote County Durham and get the best deal for our area. To give you an insight into my work you can view my diary for the coming week and in ‘leader talk’ I will let you know about some of the major issues we are currently dealing with.
